Rehabilitación urgente de paso inferior en la A-2 Alcalá de Henares
The City Council of Alcalá has reported the start of urgent works for the structural rehabilitation of the underpass located at PK 33+950 of the A-2, between Alcampo and La Dehesa.
The action carried out by the concessionaire company Autovía de Aragón Tramo 1 at the request of the Ministry of Transport, responds to the detection of serious defects that pose potential safety risks.
The works, whose main phase begins on April 23, consist of the structural reinforcement of the deck through the use of reinforced concrete with high-strength steel.
The interventions involve specific closures of the underpass and the left lane of the A-2, temporarily affecting pedestrians and vehicles.
The estimated duration of the work is one week, concluding on April 30 with the complete reopening of the underpass.
PLANNED CLOSURES
• From April 23 to 25: Total closure of the underpass (pedestrians and vehicles).
• From April 24 to 25: Formwork, shuttering, and concreting works.
• From April 28 to 29: Stripping and dismantling.
• April 30: Complete reopening to pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
