El Ayuntamiento de Parla convoca 20 nuevas plazas de agente local para reforzar su plantilla de Policía Local.
The Parla City Council, through the Department of Human Resources, has announced 20 new positions for Local Police officers. Included in the 2025 Public Employment Offers and previous exercises, 16 of these positions will be filled through a competitive examination, while the remaining four will be filled through a mobility system without promotion.
The application and documentation can be submitted until June 18th, using the standardized form available at the SAC Offices or through the Electronic Headquarters. All information is available in the Public Employment section of the Parla City Council’s Electronic Headquarters.

The BOE No. 122 of May 21, 2025 (reference BOE-A-2025-10035) includes the publication of the call for sixteen positions of Police Officers in the Local Police Force, belonging to the Special Administration scale, Special Services sub-scale, and Local Police and their assistants class, through the competitive examination system, in free turn.
The same official publication includes the call for four positions of Police Officers in the Local Police Force, belonging to the Special Administration scale, Special Services sub-scale, and Local Police and their assistants class, through the competition system, in a mobility turn.
These positions are part of the Public Employment Offers of the Parla City Council for the years 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025, reaffirming the commitment of this city council and its Government team to public employment and to strengthen, as we have been doing since 2019, citizen security in compliance with our commitment to enhance such an important and essential service,” emphasized the Councilor for Human Resources, Andrés Correa Barbado, before adding, “A reinforcement that we have been carrying out not only in terms of human resources but also in all aspects related to material resources, from equipment to vehicles.”
Requirements to apply for the positions
- Be of Spanish nationality.
- Be eighteen years old.
Hold a Bachelor’s, Technical, or equivalent academic qualification, issued in accordance with - current legislation. If applicable, the equivalence must be provided by the applicant through a certificate issued by the competent authority in each case. In the case of qualifications obtained abroad, the corresponding validation or credential proving, if applicable, the homologation must be provided.
Meet the physical and mental conditions required to perform the functions adequately. - Not have been dismissed through disciplinary proceedings from the service of any public administrations or constitutional or statutory bodies of the autonomous communities, nor be subject to absolute or special disqualification for public employment or positions by a judicial resolution.
- Have no criminal record.
- Hold a Class B driving license or equivalent.
- Commitment to carry and use weapons in cases provided for by law through a sworn declaration or promise.
- Demonstrate not having been convicted by a final judgment for any crime against sexual freedom and integrity as classified in Title VIII of Organic Law 10/1995, of November 23, of the Penal Code, as well as for any crime of human trafficking as classified in Title VII bis of the Penal Code by providing a negative certification from the Central Registry of Sexual Offenders. *This requirement will be verified by a certification from the Central Registry of Sexual Offenders provided for in that organic law.
Regarding the requirements for applicants for positions through promotion mobility, they are as follows:
- Be in an active service or special services administrative situation, in the Police category.
Be a career civil servant in the Police category of any Local Police Force in the Community of Madrid with a minimum seniority of three years as a career civil servant in the category and a minimum of five years left to move to the second activity status. For the purposes of the required seniority, the time spent in the second activity status due to pregnancy or risk during natural lactation will be counted. - Not be in a second activity administrative situation, except in cases of pregnancy or risk during natural lactation.
- Provide evidence, in the case of having previously obtained a position through the mobility access system, of having served in the municipality where it was obtained for at least five years.
- Hold a high school diploma or equivalent, issued in accordance with current legislation.
- Hold a Class B driving license or equivalent.
- Meet the physical and mental conditions required to be considered fit to perform the corresponding functions adequately. To do this, a medical examination will be carried out by the designated healthcare professionals. Participation in the process implies express authorization for these analyses and tests. If the interested party refuses to undergo these analyses or tests, the Tribunal, after hearing from the individual, will decide to exclude them from the process.
- Not be in a situation of separation through disciplinary proceedings from the service of any Public Administrations or constitutional or statutory bodies of the Autonomous Communities, nor be subject to absolute or special disqualification for public employment or positions by a judicial resolution to access the body or scale of the public function in which the separation or disqualification occurred.
- Meet the other requirements for filling the position.
* Obtaining a position through mobility in the Municipal Police Force of the Parla City Council entails a minimum stay of five years in said municipality.
