Desarticulado un centro de estética ilegal en Chamberí y arrestadas tres mujeres por prácticas ilegales.

The National Police have dismantled an illegal beauty center in the Chamberí district where aesthetic treatments were being carried out unlawfully. As a result of the operation, three women have been arrested. They were performing medical practices without being qualified personnel and were not complying with the established measures for the conservation of substances used in the treatments.

Among other illegal activities, they were performing the so-called «Russian lips«, which involved injections in the lips to achieve natural aesthetic results similar to those of Russian models.

During the police operation, a search and seizure was carried out at the premises where these practices were taking place, in collaboration with health and labor authorities.

A trapdoor locked with a padlock accessed by crawling

They stored some of the products in a locked room that had to be accessed by crawling, containing boxes, tires, and a trash container.

The police observed how a woman pretending to be a doctor, preparing to attend a client, hid a container of botulinum toxin labeled in Korean among her clothes. Additionally, in one of the rooms, there was a handwritten diary detailing step-by-step instructions for performing aesthetic treatments.

During the inspection, it was noted that one of the rooms had a trapdoor locked with a padlock that had to be accessed by crawling. This room contained a small refrigerator with expired hyaluronic acid containers that were partially used, along with numerous boxes, vehicle tires, and even a trash container in the same area. Furthermore, through investigative progress, it was discovered that they were using the same syringes to administer treatments to different clients.

They purchased medical products through instant messaging

Through a channel on an instant messaging application, they acquired products that were later applied to clients. The merchandise arrived at the beauty center through courier companies without complying with the required cold storage sanitary measures for preservation.
