The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) maintains the yellow warning in the Sierra de Madrid until six in the morning of this Monday due to significant snow accumulations, while rain continues and temperatures will rise throughout the region.

The sky will be cloudy or overcast, with a chance of scattered mists and fogs in the Sierra at the beginning and end of the day, as well as weak and scattered frosts in the summits.

Weak to moderate precipitation and scattered showers are expected, more intense and persistent in the Sierra, where the snow line will be around 1400 meters rising to 1800 meters by the end of the day. The temperature rise will be locally significant in the maximums of the southeast of the Community. Light to moderate northeasterly winds will blow.

From Emergencies 112, they have reminded all Madrid residents traveling through this area to carry chains in the trunk or winter tires, have a fully charged mobile phone battery, a full fuel tank, and drive with caution.

The temperatures expected in some localities of the region are as follows: Alcalá de Henares 5 and 14 degrees, Aranjuez 8 and 15, Collado Villalba 3 and 9, Getafe 7 and 12, Madrid 6 and 11, and Navalcarnero 6 and 13 degrees.
