Line 6 of Madrid Metro will end its service at midnight, during the week, from March 9th due to works
In order to provide this substitute service to users, the municipal company has planned a fleet of 18 buses (nine in each special service) that will follow the usual, circular, and complete route of the gray metro line, stopping at the bus stops near each of the Line 6 stations.
The works aim to automate the circular line, the most used in the entire network with over 116 million users in 2024 and an average of 40,000 daily users. The closures will last until May 31st.
