Ayuso anuncia aumento salarial para enfermeros en centros de salud de difícil cobertura
Díaz Ayuso has announced this measure at the inauguration of the Economy and Health Forum, organized by the newspaper El Economista, where she has pointed out that since last year, an additional 500 euros per month are also being paid to doctors and pediatricians who provide care in health centers with difficult coverage.
In the same vein, she has emphasized the commitment of the Madrid government to increase the amount for shifts, nights, and holidays in hospitals starting in 2026, as well as the expansion of units entitled to the continuity of care supplement, benefiting over 1,200 nurses from hospital centers, as well as nursing assistants and orderlies.
Likewise, January 6th -Three Kings Day- will be considered a special workday for remuneration purposes, benefiting more than 15,000 professionals from hospitals, SUMMA 112, and extrahospital emergency services.

«The healthcare model in the Community of Madrid is successful. The results speak for themselves, with the highest life expectancy in Europe, the lowest waiting lists in Spain, being a reference in research, and having the best healthcare infrastructure,» stated the regional president, highlighting the work on the new Ciudad de la Salud to transform La Paz into a complex that will be a benchmark in Europe, integrating the Hospital with the Autonomous University of Madrid.
Díaz Ayuso has emphasized the effort to expand and modernize infrastructure such as the renovation of the 12 de Octubre, the start of the remodeling of the Universitario de Móstoles, the reform of the Infanta Leonor, or the new Cuidados y Recuperación Funcional Sierra Norte.
Also, the commitment to open 34 health centers before the current Legislature ends, the renewal of 140 high-tech equipment for the treatment of cancer and complex pathologies, complemented by the upcoming Proton Therapy units in the public hospitals of Fuenlabrada and Ciudad de la Salud, and the addition of new state-of-the-art robots for surgical interventions.
The Madrid president also highlighted that last week, the Government Council approved an investment of 21 million euros for the modernization of the personalized care center of the Madrid Health Service (SERMAS), which will improve the management of medical appointments by renewing the 124 digital kiosks at health centers and updating digital tools for health data analysis.
