Díaz Ayuso decreta tres días de luto por fallecimiento del Papa Francisco
“We want to convey our condolences, mine and that of the entire Government of the Community of Madrid, to the 1.4 billion Catholics worldwide for the death of Pope Francis, the first Hispanic-American Pontiff,” Díaz Ayuso recalled during her visit to the Metro’s Train of the Future exhibition in Plaza de Colón in the capital.
From this Monday, the 21st, until Wednesday, the 23rd of April, the flags of the official buildings of the Community of Madrid, where their display is mandatory, will fly at half-mast in remembrance and honor of the pontiff of the Church.
The Decree will be published immediately in an extraordinary manner in the Official Gazette of the Community of Madrid (BOCM).
The Royal Post Office, headquarters of the Presidency of the Community of Madrid, will be illuminated tonight with the colors of the flag of the Vatican City in memory of His Holiness, Pope Francis.
