El festival Tomavistas con 45 artistas en La Caja Mágica para despedir mayo

The Tomavistas Festival has closed the lineup for its ninth edition, which will take place on May 29, 30, and 31 at the Caja Mágica in Madrid, featuring a total of 45 national and international artists and bands, including Romy (The xx), Caribou, Amaia, Mogwai, Mala Rodríguez, Kiasmos, Love of Lesbian, Bombay Bicycle Club, Kelly Lee Owens, and Yard Act.

With this lineup, Tomavistas consolidates its identity as a medium-sized urban festival, alternative to the large mass gatherings, with an eclectic mix ranging from electronic to independent rock, pop, hip-hop, and contemporary flamenco.

One of Tomavistas’ hallmarks is the blend of international figures with emerging artists from the national scene. This year, the festival stands out for a greater female presence, both in the projects and at the top of the lineup, with five names led by women: Romy, Amaia, Mala Rodríguez, Judeline, and María José Llergo.

The lineup was revealed in three successive installments. The first announcement included names like Caribou, Mogwai, Kiasmos, Mala Rodríguez – celebrating the 25th anniversary of Lujo Ibérico -, Judeline, Jimena Amarillo, Depresión Sonora, Biznaga, Carlos Ares, La Élite, Carlangas, and pablopablo.

The second announcement added Love of Lesbian, Amaia, María José Llergo, Barry B, Maika Makovski, Camellos, Karavana, Parquesvr, Viva Belgrado, trashi, Ganges, and Las Dianas.

The final lineup includes Romy, presenting her album «Mid Air» in her only concert in Spain; Doves, performing for the first time in Madrid; Kelly Lee Owens, Yard Act – also in an exclusive date -, the Andalusian collective Frente Abierto, and the Valencian artist Xenia.

The daily schedule is as follows: Thursday 29th with Amaia, Mala Rodríguez, Judeline, María José Llergo, Barry B, Jimena Amarillo, pablopablo, trashi, Ganges, and Xenia.

On Friday, the lineup includes Caribou, Bombay Bicycle Club, Love of Lesbian, Doves, Carlos Ares, Maika Makovski, Karavana, Carlangas, Parquesvr, Viva Belgrado, and Las Dianas.

And Saturday promises with Romy, Mogwai, Kiasmos, Kelly Lee Owens, Yard Act, Depresión Sonora, Biznaga, La Élite, Camellos, Frente Abierto, and La Milagrosa.
