En Madrid, nuestra razón de ser es apostar por la libertad.

The president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, concludes her official trip to Ecuador, but before that, she gathered around a hundred businessmen from the country to explain the economic model of the region.

Ayuso mentioned that since 2019, investments by Madrid companies in Ecuador have exceeded 380 million euros. This represents almost 9 out of every 10 euros invested by Spain in this country.

Ayuso criticized the «latest generation freeloaders with Bolivarian connections» who exploit the «business of grievances» to «live off the public funds«.

The regional leader conveyed this message during a meeting with Ecuadorian businessmen and investors organized by Invest in Madrid in Quito, as part of the second day of her official visit.

Ayuso emphasized that Madrid stands for freedom and for placing the individual at the core of policies. «It is our reason for existence,» she stated.

«We are against collectivizing to make it invisible, to control it, to suppress it, to monitor it, to make it dependent, and also to amplify grievances, which is a huge business, allowing some to perpetuate themselves living off public resources without public resources functioning,» she expressed.

«And obviously, I am not referring to career civil servants, who are excellent,» Ayuso clarified, referring to those who, through international agendas, «infiltrate all liberal democracies and all administrations that always have Bolivarian connections

The Madrid Government defends that Ayuso has attended 140 out of 143 plenary sessions in the Assembly

«What a coincidence that they all band together and speak to prevent any progress, because the person who owns property, who has a business, who has a family, and who has life projects, is free,» Ayuso asserted, believing that they need citizens «divided, entertained, and offended all day with problems that do not address the root cause.»

The president affirmed the need to uphold «above all, the rule of law as a fundamental principle» because a popular democracy is «the worst of tyrannies,» infiltrating through liberal democracies to «entrench from within and through a strategy of decay, destroy everything, including businesses, justice, and free media so that one day, once they have everything, there is nowhere to report it.»

She advocated to the Ecuadorians that Madrid is the only region in Spain without its own taxes, only national taxes, which «can be reduced further.»

Furthermore, she criticized a national government that diverts part of the revenue to «maintain good figures for foreign audiences.»

«Madrid invests in legal security because we respect the work of judges and justice; respect for businesses because we do not interfere with them to change the rules of the game or dictate how they should operate, ensuring freedom, and security in the streets which is crucial and being taken away here by narcodictatorships,» she pointed out.
