Incendio controlado cerca de viviendas en Móstoles y Alcorcón

Firefighters from the Community of Madrid have declared the fire that broke out in the last hour of this Monday on a property located on the border between the towns of Alcorcón and Móstoles to be under control, and no injuries have been reported.

According to Emergencies 112 Community of Madrid, the Alcorcón units have already withdrawn, although three units of the Community of Madrid Firefighters will remain in the area to cool the ground and extinguish hot spots.

The wind has contributed to its rapid spread

Up to eight units of the Community of Madrid Firefighters have been deployed to the scene to assist local units in extinguishing the flames.

The fire, which spread rapidly due to the wind, triggered numerous emergency calls as there are homes located just a few meters away from the affected property, Fuente Cisneros, while the Emergency Medical Services of the Community of Madrid, Summa 112, deployed a preventive medical response team that did not have to treat anyone.
