Los autobuses gratuitos de la EMT cubrirán los servicios nocturnos debido a las obras en la Línea 6 de Metro.

The Line 6 of Madrid Metro will stop operating at midnight this Sunday due to the renovation works on this line. It will be closed from Sunday to Thursday and will only operate on Fridays and Saturdays. As an alternative, there will be two bus routes that will cover the same route on the surface and free of charge.

The SC1 route Circular 1 in blue will follow the route counterclockwise starting from the blue stations. The SC2 route Circular 2 will go clockwise starting from the red stations, with a frequency of every ten minutes.

The departures of the last bus services from EMT Madrid from Cuatro Caminos (Raimundo Fernández Villaverde street in the central islet at numbers 1 and 7) and from Legazpi (Legazpi square) are scheduled between 2:10 am and 2:20 am.

Line 6 of Madrid Metro will end its service at midnight, during the week, from March 9th due to works

In order to provide this substitute service to users, the municipal company has planned a fleet of 18 buses (nine in each special service) that will follow the usual, circular, and complete route of the gray metro line, stopping at the bus stops near each of the Line 6 stations.

The works aim to automate the circular line, the most used in the entire network with over 116 million users in 2024 and an average of 40,000 daily users. The closures will last until May 31st.
