Cultural Agenda
To mark the end of the school year, municipal schools have prepared various functions showcasing what students have learned during the course. The Joaquín Rodrigo Municipal School of Music has organized its closing concert for this afternoon, starting at 7:30 pm, at the Joaquín Rodrigo Auditorium. The performance will feature various ensembles and soloists, both students and teachers, sharing the work done throughout this academic period.
Additionally, students from the Pilar López Dance School will present an Evening of Dance on Friday at 10 pm in Parque París, a selection of choreographies that take us through movement, blending technique, emotion, and beauty in an unforgettable night. A show that brings together different styles and sensibilities, from tradition to avant-garde. And on Saturday, starting at 10 pm, Parque París will be filled with music and dance with the Big Band and Pop-Rock Combo from the Joaquín Rodrigo Municipal School of Music.
The Yllana Municipal Theater School continues with its end-of-year showcases, a series of performances with proposals for all ages that are taking place during this month of June. This afternoon, they offer Enredados from the musical theater group (6 pm) and La poesía no da para vivir from the initiation group (8 pm). On Saturday, the youth group will present Aprenderás (12 pm) and the advanced group will perform Presas (8 pm). All performances can be seen at the Pérez de la Riva Cultural Center.
The exhibition program features the show Gotas by Mariano Cobo at the Auditorium Hall. An artist with a wide and recognized trajectory in the national gallery scene, Gotas showcases key pieces of his new phase, where through painting and sculpture, he offers a fusion of the figurative and the abstract, discovering colors and shapes that lead him to embark on new aesthetic paths. Gotas will be on display until July 20th.
