Metro aumenta servicio en líneas 3, 5 y 12 para afluencia de viajeros
Metro de Madrid has reinforced the service on lines 3, 5, and 12 to its maximum operational capacity to accommodate the increased flow of passengers resulting from the works being carried out on various city infrastructures, as well as on the C5 Cercanías line and Metro line 6.
The increase in the number of trains in service mainly occurs during peak hours, although more trains are also running during off-peak hours. Specifically, line 3 has up to 14% more trains in service, line 5 up to 19%, and line 12 up to 10% more. In the case of line 10, Metro monitors in real-time to reinforce the service if necessary.

In all these lines, other measures are also being implemented to facilitate the collection of passengers at stations with higher footfall, improving the transport capacity on the busiest platforms.
Additionally, station personnel has been reinforced to enhance the distribution of passengers on platforms at stations like Villaverde Alto, Embajadores, and Sol on line 3, or at Marqués de Vadillo and Oporto on line 5.
