Burgueño will appear before the judge as a suspect, along with Carlos Mur and Francisco Javier Martínez Peromingo, two former high-ranking officials from the government of Isabel Díaz Ayuso considered the authors of protocols that prevented the transfer of elderly residents from nursing homes to hospitals in March and April 2020.
The Madrid Court of Instruction number 3 decided to reopen a case on April 1st at the request of the Prosecutor’s Office of Madrid, a case that had been provisionally archived almost three years ago.
