Padre e hijo detenidos por apuñalar a dos hombres en Puente de Vallecas

The National Police have arrested two Spanish men, aged 37 and 65 years, father and son, for stabbing two other men after an argument that started in a bar in the Madrid district of Puente de Vallecas.

According to sources close to the investigation, the incident occurred around three in the morning on Benjamín Palencia street, at number 45, in a Latin bar, although it is not a conflict between youth gangs.

The altercation originated from a dispute among the four men, who began throwing bottles.

Two of the individuals, father and son, have been arrested for stabbing the other man up to 7 times, a 45-year-old Spanish man who has been taken to Hospital 12 de Octubre in very critical condition.

Emergency Madrid sources have stated that when SAMUR-Protección Civil paramedics arrived at the scene, they attended to a man around 45 years old who was in cardiorespiratory arrest and had multiple stab wounds all over his body: abdomen, buttocks, face, and left arm.

The arm wounds significantly impacted veins and arteries, requiring a tourniquet. After resuscitation efforts for 21 minutes, they managed to restore his pulse, although he went into cardiac arrest again during transport to Hospital 12 de Octubre, which paramedics were able to reverse after 15 minutes of intervention. He was admitted to the hospital in critical condition.

Additionally, SAMUR-PC paramedics attended to another man with a stab wound to the face, who was transported to Hospital Gregorio Marañón without serious condition.
