Preso fugado desde octubre de Madrid II-Alcalá Meco detenido en Azuqueca de Henares
The Civil Guard of the Guadalajara Command has arrested a 39-year-old Spanish man in Azuqueca de Henares who had been on the run since October 2024, after not returning to Alcalá Meco Prison (Madrid II) following a prison leave.
The arrest was carried out by agents from the Investigation Area of the Azuqueca de Henares Main Post, who had been investigating the fugitive for several months, as reported by the Civil Guard in a press release.
The agents located him in the vicinity of his family home where he was hiding and proceeded with his arrest as he was about to use a vehicle he had previously stolen.
Investigation Development During the time he was on the run, the detainee committed multiple crimes, mostly in sports facilities in Madrid and Guadalajara.

He pretended to be a regular user of the facilities to access lockers and stole money, personal documents, credit cards, and car keys.
Subsequently, he impersonated his victims at bank branches to make cash withdrawals, hiding his face using hats and neck gaiters to hinder his identification.
Additionally, he acquired two stolen vehicles that he used for transportation to sports facilities and refueled at various gas stations without paying.
As a result of the investigation, the Civil Guard has clarified two thefts, two vehicle thefts, 8 fraud offenses (in which he obtained over 6,000 euros), 3 burglaries, and two identity theft offenses allegedly committed by this individual.

Furthermore, the detainee was subject to three judicial warrants for search, arrest, and imprisonment issued by the Criminal Courts 28 and 7 of Madrid, and the Criminal Court 1 of Getafe.
The detainee was brought before the Duty Instruction Court of Guadalajara, which ordered his imprisonment
