Villaviciosa de Odón will host an exciting new edition of ‘Revive la historia… de cine’ from June 13th to 15th, an event that transforms El Vaillo into an authentic outdoor historical setting.
This educational, cultural, and completely free experience is specially designed to attract a young audience, ensuring that all attendees enjoy a fascinating journey through time.
Over 300 uniformed reenactors will participate in live reenactments of some of the most significant conflicts of the 20th century. Visitors will have the opportunity to tour historical camps evoking World War I, the Rif War, World War II, the Vietnam War, and the Spanish army of the 80s and 90s.
The event’s program is diverse and enriching. It will feature historical talks and informative stands about the three armed forces and the National Police Corps, offering attendees a deeper insight into military history.
Additionally, an impressive collection of over 30 military vehicles, both old and modern, will be on display, providing a tangible approach to these war transport means.

Among the highlighted activities is the exhibition of the Marine Infantry Dog Unit, as well as police car demonstrations scheduled for Saturday the 14th and Sunday the 15th in the renowned Battle Zone. These exhibitions promise to be an additional attraction for military and police enthusiasts.
The event will also include four spectacular battle recreations inspired by movies: two set in World War II and two focused on the Vietnam War. These performances will feature special effects and original vehicles, providing the audience with a unique immersive experience that transports them directly to the war scenarios.

For those interested in collecting or military history, an Army Bar area and a section dedicated to militarism and collecting have been set up. This space is perfect for exchanging views and acquiring items related to this theme.
Each day ends with free musical performances at the fairgrounds. The evenings of Friday and Saturday will be enlivened with live music evoking the melodies of the 40s, 50s, and 60s.
