Madrid se consolida como capital de la moda de autor con sus rutas de diseño

The Community of Madrid has presented the second edition of ‘Routes through Spanish designer fashion in Madrid’, an initiative that turns the capital into the epicenter of designer fashion and tourism, reinforcing its identity and artisanal excellence.

A total of 46 sewing workshops participate in this proposal, which was born two years ago and, as recalled by the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Sport, Mariano de Paco Serrano, «aims to be an important part of the tourist attraction that the region offers to its visitors» during the presentation, which took place at the atelier of Sybilla.

With this new edition, Madrid consolidates itself as the capital of designer fashion, offering routes to workshops, boutiques, and ateliers such as Schlesser, SKFK, or Oteyza, located in some of the most emblematic neighborhoods of the city.

In this way, the capital establishes itself as the reference destination to discover, enjoy, and consume Spanish fashion, through unique experiences and a wide variety of Made in Spain garments, ideal for any occasion, whether day or night.

Thus, the Madrid government reinforces the economic and cultural value of designer fashion as a driving force for tourist attraction.
