Library on Duty

The Book Fair joins the Al Aire Libro awareness campaign within the Las Rozas Mental Health Plan to promote reading, and the Las Rozas Municipal Libraries present Library on Duty, with a pharmacy as a metaphor. This reading project looks at words as a healing tool for the soul. Test tubes containing «healthy words» to treat discouragement, to spread joy, love, or beauty… Choose the emotion, the feeling you like the most and read it carefully. Reading guides for well-being, thematic selections will also be available at the Book Fair.

Participating Bookstores and Publishers at the Fair

The Book Fair of Las Rozas 2025 will feature local bookstores such as Benedetti Bookstore, La Isla de los Cuentos, Las Rozas Bookstore, Punto Clip, and Sumar, accompanied by booths from publishers like Altamarea, Sierra Publishers Association, Lorca Editions, Drakul Editorial, Funambulista Editorial, Water Words Editorial, Imágica Editions, Indianos Village, Las Rozas Municipal Libraries, and the Municipal Culture Foundation of Las Rozas.

Book Fair Poster

Alexia Fernández Arribas is the author of the Book Fair poster for Las Rozas 2025. A creator of drawings and words, illustrating allows her to create worlds and express herself. The pencil and brushes are the perfect tools to channel emotion and intuition. A tree is the theme of the poster. «There is a fast and immediate world that lives on the other side of beauty, of slow and steady creativity. For that world, She is dispensable. But the truth is that beauty patiently waits to be seen, to be felt. It unravels among the leaves when the wind blows, it sprouts and is reborn always. Like trees, stories, poems, tales… they wait silently and slowly for a new Rebirth. This tree holds in its heart a beat from which words and the ability to create sprout. It represents the beginning of all stories, the material of books, even the peaceful space to enjoy them.»

The Book Fair hours will be from Thursday to Saturday, from 10 am to 2 pm and from 5:30 pm to 9 pm, and on Sunday it will be open from 10 am to 3 pm. Information about the Book Fair program is available on the municipal website, www.lasrozas.es and at the following link.
