Las reservas para explorar tesoros ocultos en Madrid se abren este miércoles
The Madrid City Council opens this Wednesday, May 21, the booking period for the second season of the Pasea Madrid program, which offers free guided tours to explore the city’s cultural and natural heritage.
At 10:00 a.m., the registration platform will be available for individuals over 65 years old, with a special quota of 14 themes. Starting at 12:00 p.m., it will open to the general public. This season includes 20 thematic itineraries, 809 sessions, and a total of 21,690 available spots during June, July, and September. Among the novelties is a new visit to the garden of Quinta de los Molinos, a space with a marked Mediterranean character, divided into a romantic northern area and an agricultural southern area, famous for its almond trees, olive trees, pines, and eucalyptus trees.

New districts and iconic visits
The programming incorporates six new districts: Villa de Vallecas, Tetuán, San Blas-Canillejas, Hortaleza, Puente de Vallecas, and Vicálvaro. It also brings back iconic routes like the El Capricho bunker, the monument to Alfonso XII in El Retiro, the Pavilion of Hexagons, and the Cibeles Palace.
Featured routes and popular demand
Pasea Madrid maintains highly demanded itineraries, such as the route through the Carabanchel district and two routes dedicated to Francisco de Goya: one in the surroundings of the hermitage of San Antonio de la Florida and another in the Francisco de Goya Cabinet of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando, where the plates of his graphic series (Caprichos, Disasters of War, Bullfighting, and Follies) are exhibited.
